And in totally other news, the moment I got to the bit about GC having some ice cream, Harvey hopped up on my desk. He slung his tail across the keyboard, refusing any attempts to rearrange it, and is PURRRRRRRRRing. He's not even looking at me, he's looking at the computer. This is him sending the best that he has for you, Glam.
Comfort foods eaten within a week of a pet dying have no calories. You read it on the internet, so it must be true.
Belated birthday wishes, JZ!
And belated punctuation for GC - so sorry about Josie, and sorry that you won't be taking home the Siamese kitty. (But happy that the kitty got saved!)
Question for the hivemind:
I'm going to a wedding on Sunday. Do I wear the brown dress I wore to prom: [link]
the burgandy dress I wore to SF F2F prom: [link]
Or, I'm also thinking brown pants/jacket with a green satin blouse.
I can vouch for how incredibly helpful Ginger is. She made a huge difference when my mom was going through her chemo.
Bears repeating, or thanking again? Huge help when I was going through my stuff.
Tamara, I'm so sorry - all kinds of strength and coping -ma to your aunt, you, and your family.
I love the brown dress, Chi. The burgundy is marked private, woe.

Oops. Updated the set for friends. So you should see it now. (And you should...it's me and Nora and she looks cute as can be!)
Ha! ChiKat is trying to trick us! She looks great in both dresses!
But the burgundy dress has my favorite neckline
Oh, for ND and his father and Tamara and her aunt, I just wanted to say that there's a big difference between terminal cancer and actually being in the end stage of an illness. My MiL has stage 4 cancer, technically that's "terminal" but there's no prognosis because she could remain at the same stage for many years. I hope your family has good luck with the treatment.
I'd wear anything that allows other people to kiss your boobies, ChiKat. IJS. ;P
