My cat likes to sniff my mouth after I've brushed my teeth. If I open my mouth, she'll stick her nose inside it.
Hard candy mints, especially of the red-and-white-striped variety, are Amarna's favorite smell in the world outside of catnip. Which is understandable, since mint and catnip are part of the same family of plants. She'd also stick her head in my mouth to chase down that minty smell if I let her.
Her favorite human food, actually, the only human food she's ever shown interest in, is potato and macaroni salads. I think it's the mayo that she likes. Oh, and she'll go after my cereal dish if I haven't finished off the leftover milk in it.
My dog licks my toes after I shower.
Tep, it's true. So many murders with hammers, phones, you name it.
I'd be appalled if mostly I didn't just think "Yay...don't have to know ballistics."
But that's a crime fiction thing.
Sassafras loves to lick my skin right after moisturizer. Thus far she has shunned my DH's. As for people-food, she can hear a banana being peeled from anywhere in the house and will come running to claim her share.
Nicky has a bedtime ritual of giving both DH and I "lovies" on the ears. When we get in bed he jumps up and puts one little paw on our chest to hold us down then goes in for the licks. He must think that the little pug paw will keep us in place or something.
Both our cats will wrap their front paws around our wrists to give our hands attack baths. Of course, this is sometimes followed by a chomp o' love, but they can usually be appeased by a good chest and/or head skritch.
Harvey and Sammie will randomly lick us. I think it's the salt.
As for foods...
Harvey likes canned mushrooms and cooked carrots, and goes absolutely nuts over pork rinds.
Sammie just stares at me if I offer her any of the above.
Aims, that's PSYCHOTIC.
I'm assuming that's for ex-boss and vacation, not the lurker in the office.
No, I meant the lurker. It's crazy!
Psychotic generally has a significant negative connotation.
Hence my puzzlement.
