I move to the Engine Room and discard 2 cards to activate the Engine Room. Just making sure I can use a brown one for this before I post my discard.

You can use a Treachery card. However, if a revealed Cylon (of which there is one) holds a Sabotage card, they may then play it to damage Galactica (or, if the current player prefers, Pegasus).
