It's good to have cargo. Makes us a target for every other scavenger out there, though, but sometimes that's fun too.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

BSG

I really wanted to jump us to Pizza Hut, but that wasn't one of the choices. Neither was Taco Bell. It was a choice between a dirty street vendor who hadn't bathed in a week and a hamburger someone dropped on the sidewalk.

We've jumped to a Mining Asteroid. That, unfortunately, is patrolled by that motherfucker Scar. He's only one Raider, though! We can take him! It's a step up from our previous situation. (And he repaired our Viper for us! Probably because he wants to blow it up himself, but still.)

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

You've reached a new destination, but you haven't left all your troubles behind. You may, on the other hand, have left your potato snacks behind. Dee's Crisis is:

Food Shortage
President's Choice

President Roslin, when you're ready, please post your choice.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

BSG

I don't know what cards you two have, but my vote is for the discard and one food loss. In past games Food seems to go down in a hurry.

We need to get those Civvies out of Sector 4 right away. Next raider activation will allow Scar to destroy them both.

ETA: Or XO me and I can take some potshots at Scar and draw his fire if I miss.

I think the next activation only gets Scar to the civvies. I assume activating twice means he moves through two sectors, not that he gets to do everything double.

Are you still in space after the jump?

I guess I'm stuck on the asteroid. It's not as pretty as Caprica.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

BSG

Yeah, I believe you have a pretty full hand, Dee, so I hope discarding won't be too painful. I'll take Option 2 and discard CP-1 (yellow) and DE-3 (green)

The activation from the Food Shortage crisis allows him to move into Sector 4, with the civvies. Which means if we get another raider activation on Ellen's crisis, Scar will open fire on both civvies.

Are you still in space after the jump?

No. But with an XO I can activate the Hanger Deck to launch into Sector 5, use the bonus action from launching to move into Sector 4, and then use the second XO action to shoot at Scar.

Oh, right. Well, that's not good.

Slick!

Is Scar more powerful than other Raiders when he attacks (if you don't kill him and have to block his way)? Or is it just that he'll get two activations? What are the chances that you'll end up in the Sickbay?

It's just that he gets two activations. His chances of hitting are the same. (He is, of course, better defensively too.)

(Broadcast Location is only value 1.)

After the discards, raiders (i.e. Scar) activate. He moves two spaces to Sector 4, with the civvies. Finally, the jump track advances.

That concludes Dee's turn. I'm sending Ellen Tigh's cards out. Ellen, when you're ready, please post your move and action.
