BTW, Adama, I didn't delete your XO from the spreadsheet, so I believe you should have only had 2 cards left after your turn, and 1 now, so I've gone back and edited the turn summaries.

Yep, that matches my records.
OK, so I could discard a card and move to FTL myself and jump. I could XO someone to do the same thing. Any other good options?
I think those are our best options. You could XO Baltar to Consolidate Power and/or work the Quorum, but I like jumping. I invested in a pair of kanga boots for just such an occasion. t boingboingboing

Ok chaps, team meeting! We'll be jumping shortly, which I think we can all agree is largely due to your Admiralissimo. Yes, thank you, very proud. Now, it's quite likely that we'll experience some turbulence hereafter. Starbuck's MUWAHAHAs reverberate through the inky vacuum of space, we can be sure she's planning something unpleasant. There's probably another toaster stashed away somewhere too. Keep your eyes out for anyone who sprouted a goatee during the coming jump.
So things could get bumpier, and while the fleet's resources are holding up well, those of the crew are stretched. Efficiency is the goal here; let's build up some reserves. Helo, you've done a stellar job in making our recent efforts a success, and in this and so many other ways, you're just like the son I never had. Still, I'd suggest that we let the raptor pilots try things on their own for a while, keep any other plans for possibly more crucial situations. Watch out for having too much of our card strength concentrated in one person too.
Right, I think that's everything! Group hug! t boingboingboing

I...never know quite how I feel after one of the Admiral`s pep talks. But yes, things are definitely gearing up. I support our policy of once more getting the heck out of here. There is still a population loss risk, so we could conceivably wait for the auto-jump, but Kobol awaits.

That's the inspiration hitting, Chum! I'm told it's a lot like nostalgia mixed with indigestion. Couldn't say for sure. I've always been the inspirationaler rather than the inspirationalee. It's one of the burdens of command. The other one is the "BOSS OF YOU" hat. Seriously, it keeps flying off when I use the kanga boots! Most inconvenient. Have you ever tried picking up a hat while wearing kanga boots? There can be unexpected consequences, I'm telling you! I may have to requisition some elastic to take care of it.

I'd say if Helo has an XO, he might as well use it on someone onboard Galactica to jump us, since going over there to do it himself is going to cost a card anyway.
I can help with the jump die-roll if we want to raise our chances (I realize we've already got better-than-normal chances with Helo's re-roll ability.)
BSG
With Population still at its starting value, I'm comfortable with relying just on Helo's reroll. Starbuck may well share a Super Crisis with us on her turn, in which case we'll need everything we can lay our hands on if we want to pass.
BSG
OK, I will not move and for my action I play a G1 to XO the Chief to get us out of here.
I would not presume to order the Admiral away from Command while he's got his "Boss of You" hat on.

I would indeed look suspiciously at any attmpt on your part to remove the Admiralissimo from Command. I will however note that with Starbuck turned to the dark side, XOing the Chief is functionally equivalent to XOing the next player after you, and should be used sparingly.
This is a caution for after the jump, of course; President Ferret cleared the Chief, which is effectively a guarantee at this point. XOing him right now is spiffy.
(PS: on the assumption that the Chief is going to activate the FTL, we can put in interrupt COs too.)
BSG
I was wondering about that functional equivalency, thanks.
Preparing to look askance at all of you shifty possible cylons post-Jump.
