Just to be sure. Assuming you jump, I
1) send out destinations and the Admiral picks
2) deal out loyalty cards (since even with a 1 we'll hit the sleeper phase)
3) draw the crisis card for Helo's turn

Or are #2 and #3 reversed?

You notice how Helo keeps making up for having such a quick turn first round?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

No, you have the order correct. The loyalty cards are an immediate consequence of reaching 4 Distance, so they happen before drawing the Crisis Card. (In addition, if there's anything on the Destination that needs to be resolved, such as at the Cylon Refinery, we sort that out before dealing the loyalty cards.)

Whoo! I move back to FTL and I activate it to jump on outta here. Eat our dust, Cylons. Except, you know, whatever Cylons we`re bringing with us and don`t even know! Cue ominous symphonic music of impending peril.

You didn't even need Helo's manly arms as the Chief managed to jump you with a 7. Good work, Chief!

Now it's just up to L'Amiral Chef-Hanches to settle on a new temporary home and then it's Welcome to the Sleeper Phase Beeyotches!

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

One day even President Badger.
Hold on there skippy. Badger stays firmly in Firefly land!

Hot damn, this game is moving quick!

in Non-BSG news, has anyone played LIMBO on Xbox arcade? Time Magazine listed in the top 10 games of the year. I played the demo. It's cute.

See, this is exactly the sort of dignified communication we mortals have come to expect from the gods.

Strap yourselves in, Colonials! You know, destiny is a funny thing. Once I thought I was destined to become Emperor of Greenland, sole monarch over its 52,000 inhabitants. Then I thought I was destined to build a Polynesian longship in my garage. I was wrong then, but I've got it now. I'm the destined protector of the fleet. I'm in the driver's seat, and putting the hammer down! From now on, you can all address me as Admiralissimo GO!dama. Honk if you love JUSTICE!

Now that was exhilarating. We have got to do that again. That Desolate Moon was such a drag anyway, am I right? Ok, Mr Gaeta, where have we landed now?

...How is that any different from a Desolate Moon?

I don't care if they're spelled differently, Mr Gaeta. They're synonyms. Look, I have the thesaurus right here. No, I'm not saying it's a bad location -- look, stop crying, you're embarrassing the crew. No, I'm sure it's very nice, I was just hoping for something a little... different, that's all. I mean, how is Helo supposed to repopulate the human race in a place like this?

Our new destination is Barren Planet.

Not mad about it, but the distance is good, and I think that's our highest priority. I suggest that we try to find the time to scout destinations before the next jump. If we get another 3-Distance jump up next, then we only have two more jumps to go. We'll also need to find something more Fuel-efficient next go-round.

Maybe the Admiral should stop yakking and look where he's going.

Crash Landing (6 YP)! Details sent via email. You should also have your sleeper info.

Pass on interrupts

I can't help with this check. To make the obvious comment, Fuel loss is Not An Option. If we do fail, Helo, we'll be seeing you back on Galactica sooner than we thought.

Well, I can help a lot. So that should, er, help. Unfortunately, we once again do not know who we can trust. Say what you like about Starbuck, at least we know she's out to destroy us.

Hm.
