This is one of the ones I passed on in my standing conditional orders, right?
BSG
Yes, sorry, I should have said I already have COs from you, Starbuck, and Adama.
BSG
It's safe to pass Baltar too, since he hasn't drawn any purple yet. That just leaves Helo.
BSG
I get knocked unconscious, and when I wake up, everything's gone to hell. Don't you military people have guns and ships and whatnot? Target the ReaversCylons! Target everyone! Somebody fire!
Oh, and somebody get me out Sickbay, please. It smells like old people and death in here. Most unpleasant.
Wow, that's a whole lot of baddies in short order. Getting XOed out of sickbay so I can get my full card draw would be nice. If Chief can swing a repair of FTL followed by XOing me, I'd be happy to go order some vipers around. I'm thinking launching one into each of sector 5 and 6, or should I move an RSV out of 5 into 4 to cover the civvies there?

Pass on interrupts
BSG
Yeah, looking ahead I'm definitely seeing a move to FTL and repairing that thing, what with all those frakking Cylons floating around out there and all, as being my best primary course of action. But I am open to suggestions as regards my second action.
BSG
Moving vipers is a good choice (I like launching a new one into Sector 5 and moving it to Sector 4). You could also go to Communications and move some civvies. If we can get them all bunched up with Starbuck in Sector 5, they'll be a lot easier to defend. Starbuck's our best pilot anyway. She's like the son I never had, did I mention that?
BSG
And the roll is... 6! Looks like Starbuck is the best pilot. Let's see what she does with the results of her scouting mission.

I take no pleasure in saying this, but I support you giving an Executive Order to President Space Weasel Dr Baltar. He's in Sickbay right now, and if he's still there when his turn starts, he'll only get to draw one card. At the start of the game, we don't have many cards between us, so we don't want to give them away for nothing.
I know what you're thinking. You're thinking to yourself, "But he's Gaius Baltar, most weaselly man alive! There was this telemarketer on Tauron with some sort of pyramid scheme (no, really, he was selling pyramid sporting merchandise), but now he's been obliterated and Baltar has absolutely no competition! And you would be right. Note the weak chin, the floppy hair (as though he is trying to hide inside it), and that his favourite colour to draw is... yellow. And for all these reasons, there's no way in hell I'm giving him an XO, which means it's up to you, Chief.
The reason why I won't give him an XO is this: The player receiving an XO can either take a move and action, or if they choose not to move they can take two actions. That's great if they're also human -- you basically double the effectiveness of your turn. But if they're a Cylon -- hey, omnis, you still around? Want to tell the boys and girls what happens when you XO a Cylon? Usually they'll still play along, especially this early, so it's not so bad. However, Baltar's turn is right after mine. If I were to XO him, he gets to be a moustache-twirling villain for two turns in a row, and there's nothing we can do about it. He could, for instance, reveal on my turn, and play his newly received Super Crisis right away on his turn.
For this reason, it's extra-risky to XO the player whose turn is immediately after your own. If you XO Baltar it's not so bad. We can use my turn to clean up a bit, if he pulls anything.
