And the roll is... 6! Looks like Starbuck is the best pilot. Let's see what she does with the results of her scouting mission.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Yeah, looking ahead I'm definitely seeing a move to FTL and repairing that thing, what with all those frakking Cylons floating around out there and all, as being my best primary course of action. But I am open to suggestions as regards my second action.

I take no pleasure in saying this, but I support you giving an Executive Order to President Space Weasel Dr Baltar. He's in Sickbay right now, and if he's still there when his turn starts, he'll only get to draw one card. At the start of the game, we don't have many cards between us, so we don't want to give them away for nothing.

I know what you're thinking. You're thinking to yourself, "But he's Gaius Baltar, most weaselly man alive! There was this telemarketer on Tauron with some sort of pyramid scheme (no, really, he was selling pyramid sporting merchandise), but now he's been obliterated and Baltar has absolutely no competition! And you would be right. Note the weak chin, the floppy hair (as though he is trying to hide inside it), and that his favourite colour to draw is... yellow. And for all these reasons, there's no way in hell I'm giving him an XO, which means it's up to you, Chief.

The reason why I won't give him an XO is this: The player receiving an XO can either take a move and action, or if they choose not to move they can take two actions. That's great if they're also human -- you basically double the effectiveness of your turn. But if they're a Cylon -- hey, omnis, you still around? Want to tell the boys and girls what happens when you XO a Cylon? Usually they'll still play along, especially this early, so it's not so bad. However, Baltar's turn is right after mine. If I were to XO him, he gets to be a moustache-twirling villain for two turns in a row, and there's nothing we can do about it. He could, for instance, reveal on my turn, and play his newly received Super Crisis right away on his turn.

For this reason, it's extra-risky to XO the player whose turn is immediately after your own. If you XO Baltar it's not so bad. We can use my turn to clean up a bit, if he pulls anything.

I'm the Admiral... of Hearts. And I approved this message.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Chief Tyrol plays first in this check, and Starbuck plays last (the current player always plays last). This is a 10 YG check; that means that yellow and green cards count positive, but purple, red and blue cards count negative and reduce our total. Our target is 10; we need all the positive cards, minus all the negative cards, to equal 10 or more.

In addition to the cards we play, the Destiny Deck will put n two cards as well. If anyone had played an Investigative Committee, we would get to see those cards before playing anything. As it is, they ar an unknown amount, that could (in theory) do anything from adding 10 to subtracting 10. (Usually it makes a much smaller impact.)

Here's the order in which we play. If it's not your turn to play yet, you can still send conditional orders to the GM. (You can make it something like "If there's already been at least four cards played, I play X; if there's only been three cards or less, I play Y".)

Destiny: 2 cards
Chief:
Adama
Baltar
Helo:
Starbuck
