Handsome brooding vampire guy has to swoop in all sensitive mouth and overhanging forehead. How 'bout leaving some scraps for the homely-looking fellows who don't turn evil when they get some?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

apparently you got the "water works" version. Maybe he's a dishwasher and not a toaster.

I'm one of those rare steam-driven toasters.

You call it being cute, I call it tactics.

Silly Chief, you spent all your Tactics.

A drunk, an ex con and two cylon-lovers. We could plan a murder, or start a religion.

We could call ourselves the "Final Four"! Good idea? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

OKAY. As we've agreed not to jump this turn, my original gut instinct WAS to go to the lab. While I DO have to discard that single card at the end of turn, it would also give me something to play into a crisis (and then no need to worry about the discard). THEN I would also be in the lab to be XOed or on my own turn draw another extra card or two to beef up my hand when I eventually get one.

HOWEVER: I also see your point about launching vipers, and I think that is a good plan.

I have also found, however, when I defy my gut instinct to go with what others advise, it turns out poorly. Some of this, however, has entirely to do with random chance (it's certainly been good advice!). I don't want to be a poor team player.

Before I declare my action, I would like to consult with you one more time--AS the lab would result in a card I can play into a crisis (but would otherwise be entirely useless after this round), possibly, and we are INSANELY low on cards, AND as the civvies are not in immediate jeopardy (though they may be soon)--what would you prefer I do?

You bring up a good point, but we don't know what the immediate crisis will bring. A number of them don't even require cards, or purple necessarily (although many do).

I think I'd still launch vipers, but I also think I had a gut instinct Apollo was a toaster and Zarek the same about Boomer, so, personally, I am fine with you going with your gut.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

BSG

I have a lot of respect for your guts. I was not very lucky with my card draw- we'll need all the help we can get in a crisis.

I would prefer that you offer some CRAZY deals on all your Isuzu trucks and vans. They're practically DRIVING themselves out the airlock!

Ok. Forgive me if this doesn't go as planned. Pretendy funtime games and all that.

I Move to the Lab and for my Action, draw a purple card.

Anyone else thinking that the "Research" "Lab" is actually just a gigantic still?
