Yes, I am a sick drunk, not a mean drunk, get it straight! *smile*

We also need to jump soon. I can (or anyone else can) do that if XOed.

I also have a mind to get to get to the Research lab and draw some cards so I have something to contribute to crises (even if I have to discard the 1 card right after if it doesn't get used). But can't do that and jump, so something to consider and/or make more complicated.

You did, but our GM likes it to be all official and sh*t.
Um. Sorry. It does make it easier to track that way.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Sorry about that.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I hope this is enough. I think it's going to be close either way.

Play G5, B1, P1.

Apollo, you and I should talk before we play into this check. Give me a moment, I need to check something first.

Ok, here's how I see it. I think Helo and Tigh cleaned themselves out of Tactics and Leadership. I think the Chief, however, has decided to play it cute and hold back a Green. We haven't seen that many Declare Emergencies come out lately. I reckon there's a good chance the card he held back is another one - that'd let him hold it back, and if they fall short he still has it up his sleeve.

That means that, if we wanted to ensure they fail this check, we'd need to pull the total back to 12. It's currently sitting on 21, so we'd need to play 9 points between us.

From my perspective, I think we'd be better served saving our cards. Let's let this one fail and see how much damage we can do over the coming cycle. Chewing up 10 cards worth 20 points is still a good result for us.

I thnk you are correct that this check caused them to burn a lot of cards. If the next few crisis cards are good to us then they won't be as prepared for them. I will save my cards on this.

I too will pass on playing cards.

You call it being cute, I call it tactics. If I'd played it into the check, you would have either been able to beat it, or else held back your cards and it would have been wasted.

There's a chance between the two of you could have the cards to beat the +2 from Declare Emergency, but not the point value of the card, but I figured it was unlikely.

Plus, there was a chance you weren't going to be such a smarty-pants and realize I had it, and I could have got you two toasters to spend cards and Team Human still be able to win the check.
