Actually, I was thinking it would be sort of like a pet. You know, we could...we could name her Trixie, or Miss Kitty Fantastico, or something.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Per the Rules:

Players are prohibited from revealing the exact strength of cards in their hands.

Per the FAQ:

If a player is hoping that another player has a specific Skill Card ability, he may ask other players. For example, if a player is thinking of using the “FTL Control” location during his Action step, he may ask if any players have a “Strategic Planning” Skill Card.

This information should not be abused (for example, a player should not just list off all card abilities in his hand).

In short, you can go looking for abilities where it's relevant, but if you're not actually interested in the ability and want to use it as a proxy for card strength, that's not permitted. The only things players can say about their card strength is whether the cards they actually play (or plan to play) into a check are high or low. (Or if they're playing multiple cards, medium.)

Sorry, I thought I said I couldn't help. I play no cards.

You did, but our GM likes it to be all official and sh*t.

Since it's basically all or nothing at this point, I'd like an answer from Chief before I play. Can you take the majority of the 20-24 burden on this check?

Also, Zarek, do you have a plan for what you are doing on your turn? That might impact what we decide.

One of us should get Tigh out of the brig before his turn so he can draw cards. I would think that one of us would draw an XO (even if I play all mine now), but given the low cards in our hands I feel like there are a lot of DEs out there.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I can help a lot with the check, but it's going to cost me most of my cards. Which I'm fine with. I honestly don't think we can afford any more hits to food.

I don't know if the secrecy rules allow me to say much more than that.

I agree, we need to get Tigh out of Sickbay before his turn. We can't afford to have anyone with a low card draw right now.

Cool. Hopefully Tigh's cards aren't worst-case scenario and can help seal the deal more than we think.

I play G2, G2, P2, P1

15 GP (B)
Destiny Deck: R3, B4
Zarek: pass
Helo: G2, G2, P2, P1
Tigh:
Chief:
Apollo:
Boomer:
Running Total: 8 out of 15

I highly suggest Tigh play all cards. Since we're doing this, we can't afford to fail, so if we can actually play 25, that would be ideal. Chief, if you have a 5 Y or R in your hand, that total would be lower.

I wish this was more, but it'll get us to almost passing, so if Chief can push us well over the top...

I put in all my cards: a G1, P1, and P4

That's way better than I feared. Now we only need 6 to have a good chance and 11 to be certain. Maybe Chief can even keep a card or two, but I would play at least 9 if you can.

If I draw an xo on my turn I would like to use it; I could xo Tigh to get out of the brig and also lower the difficulty. If I don't get an xo maybe now would be a good time to try the food rationing quorum card. Wait, Tigh's not in the brig, he's in sickbay.

Yes, I'd say getting Tigh out of sickbay is our first priority, just so it's done (since there's no guarantee that I'll draw an XO). Now that we know who's human, I think we should use XOs at every opportunity.

Otherwise, yes, I'd say draw another Quorum card and go for food.
