I feel the problem is that it isn't that long since we reached the Sleeper Phase. No one's really had enough opportunity to prove themselves one way or the other.
I've previously stated that if we had a Cylon pre-Sleeper, I think the Admiral's most likely. I feel better about that 3-Distance jump helped though (although that was a location Zarek had scouted and left on top, so the Admiral knew there was someone ready to accuse him if he didn't take it).
Zarek's been very generous with interrupts, and with perhaps not much to show for them. Now, I wouldn't have played a 5-value card as an interrupt (without very good cause), and it's true that playing valuable cards at unimportant moments can be a clever means of soft sabotage, and certainly the Elections Loom check was something of a cock-up. Still, it's quite possible he was genuinely being helpful. (With the skill check, don't forget that we wouldn't have known how bad Destiny was without the IC. I'm honestly more concerned that we still jumped right in after seeing Destiny without asking if we could make it, though I see more enthusiasm than sabotage there.)
I think it's entirely possible that either one of them's a Cylon. Or neither, or even both. That was helpful, wasn't it? Ok, something a bit more helpful: I distrust Pradmirals. If Zarek turns out to be a toaster, Tigh's ability provides us with a defence. If the Admiral's an Appliance-American, then there's a Quorum card, Encourage Mutiny, that can pull the Admiralty off him. If the same person holds both titles and they're a Cylon, they're just that much more dangerous.
I vote for leaving the Presidency with Zarek. Without more to go on re loyalties, I'd rather play it safe.

Huh. I didn't realize drunks could have intellectual stupors as well.
Excuse me? Was there something terribly stupid about my post?
*shakes head* Anyway. On further consideration, I think it makes sense to take the card hit and lose the population.
That is my decision. I discard 2 P1s.
Billytea, part of your reasoning about my being a Cylon has to do with the fact that we only went distance 1 on the first jump. (The other part was that I didn't play XOs when you told me do, and I've explained my thoughts on that more than anyone wants to hear.) I will note that, regarding the distance issue: in my experience (I don't know the exact numbers, I don't count cards and don't own the game myself), there are far more distance 0, 1, and 2 cards in the pile than distance 3 cards (For the record? That Distance 3 card? First distance 3 card I have ever drawn ever in the history of my playing this board game.) It was the first distance draw done--the likelihood of 2 low draws was decent to say the least. And the card I chose got us a chance for fuel, when we had recently taken a hit to fuel. I stand by that I chose the best card of the two that I drew. You may choose to not believe me, but I find your reasoning is flimsy at best.
I may have not always made the best decisions tactically, but I cannot recall anything I've done that has resulted in poorer circumstances for this crew (or at least picked the lesser of two evils when faced with a difficult decision).
I realize this probably comes off as more defensive toward the players than I intend. I've had a bad day and I apologize if my tone is unnecessarily terse.

I will also point out that the Admiral XO'd me so that I could work the Press Room.

Cards have been removed from your hand. Resource reduced. Now, let's get ready to RUMBLE!!! A mini Battle Roy-ale!
In this corner, Basestar #1. She fires, and rolls:
1!
(wait, what? A frakin' 1. C'mon. Jeez la weez. I think those Cylons have been dipping into Tigh's stash).
Maybe corner #2 will have better results.
Basestar #2 rolls:
an 8!
(wow, talk about one extreme to another).
A roll of 4 through 8 is
DAMAGE
to Galactica. Let us see what the Gods of Kobol have done to us.
Admiral's Quarters
(again).
That looks to be the end of this turn.

That looks right to me.
Thanks for not impeaching me. That Y5 was the only IC I had at the time and I feel that if we can play open checks we should.

Boomer has her card draw. Golly. She has a lot of cards. I wonder if she forgot, that she can only play 1 card while in the brig. Hey, but if she stays in the pokey, no crisis card!
BSG
At least there are no raiders in the air yet.
BSG
So I guess we need to discuss springing Boomer. Probability-wise, we should do it. No crisis card is good, but then we can't advance on the jump track either.
Should we need to do the check, I could certainly help.
I might be able to help ease some of the fear surrounding springing Boomer. I sent the GM a question regarding secrecy rules & he can post my thoughts on releasing the prisoner if I haven't said too much.
