You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

wow. Maybe I should be happy that she pays attention to the game at all.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Was that the fire crafty stuff? Or someone else? As a new guy, I thought it odd to not pay full attention working on something else, then wanting a quick recap before playing turn.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

It's certainly made me feel a bit better about sometimes forgetting I'm up next in initiative.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Billytea, I know the nuke can take out additional raiders if they are in the same sector, can the nukes do collateral damage to friendlies too?

No, friendlies are safe from nuke use.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

It was the doing crafty things at the table that REALLY pissed me off. Because the table was unusable for the game - it was totally taken over by his craft shit.

Oh, that is completely unacceptable. I take hand-sewing projects with me to games, but it's all stuff that can be held in my lap while I'm paying attention to the game.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I had a player who used to play games on his DS/PSP while we were gaming. Thankfully he stopped doing it when I explained to him how disrespectful to me and the other players it was.

I don't think we're quite in break out the nuke territory, yet. Apollo can clear out the remaining raiders with a max firepower and decent rolls. One Basestar can't launch any more raiders so it's left with firing on Galactica (and I'm not sure how common that is. I've only seen it happen once or twice in each of the games so far.)

Question, BT: If I launch in a viper on my turn, I know I get another action after I launch. Does the mean I can move my viper (since I start in the hanger and will have another move action left) and then still attack, or am I stuck with moving or attacking?

the cat is underneath the gaming dining room table playing with a character sheet. Sheesh, every last creature in this house is a geek.

After launching, you can Use the extra action to either move or attack. The turn sequence is strict -- you move, then take an action. You can't hold the move for after or during the action (if, as with the launch action, it has more than one part).

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Yes, omnis, it was the fire crafty stuff.

I don't know which would annoy me more, the crafty stuff taking over the table, or the wandering off to fall asleep on the couch.

What really burned, though, was that this guy was an occasional GM and should KNOW better. When he ran the game he would get annoyed if I had stepped out for a smoke on the assumption I wasn't doing anything soon (not combat, character not there, character unconscious, etc.) His assertion was that I *could* be tapped at any moment to contribute and I should be prepared.

Fuck him.

move out and draw fire

We had a guy who would fall asleep during gaming also. He wouldn't wander off or anything, just fall asleep in his chair. When he was awake, his contributions were 50% very good and 50% "set it on fire."

He was part of the party I referred to as "Chaotic Selfish;" first time I've considered putting a paladin babysitter in their party.

I always always sketch when I'm a player; it's how I take notes and retain stuff. I'm usually sketching stuff from the game, and I'm pretty much always the player with the best idea of what's going on. But it still pisses my DH off when he's GMing. Which I understand, but I can't not sketch.

I'll see if I can get him to log in here and describe the several random-card-draw RPGs he ran for us; they were all pretty awesome.

Sigh. I miss gaming. We have a regular Saturday thing, but it's just me and DH and one other person.
