You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Whoo! Bugbear Stranglers are fun. Boy was D's ranger surprised when, insteasd of attempting to escape from strangulation, he set his wolf on the Strangler, who used the ranger as a human shield, so... the wolf's attack ended up reducing the ranger to 0 hit points.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Heh. My first experience with them was not positive. The GM misunderstood the rules, and had it doing the interpose trick with pretty much every attack instead of a maximum of once per round.

eek! These stranglers are bad enough without that!

Once again everyone was rolling natural 20s but me. I tried very hard to kill party members but they wiped out all my bad guys.

I have COs for the other players:

Destiny: 2 cards
Apollo: 1 card
Helo: 1 card
Zarek: 1 card
Adama: 1 card
Boomer: no cards

Cards

Yellow 2
Yellow 2
Green 3
Green 5
Purple 2
Blue 2

Result: 12 - 4 = 8. Pass - no effect.

Next, raiders activate and shoot at Apollo:

Raider 1: 6. Hit! But Apollo plays an EM-1. Reroll at -2:
Raider 1a: 1 - 2 = -1. Doesn't get more evasive than that.
Raider 2: 6. Hit! But Apollo plays another EM (2).Reroll at -2:
Raider 2a: 3 - 2 = 1. Miss.
Raider 3: 4. Miss.

Finally, there's no jump icon. That concludes Boomer's turn. Apollo, I'm sending you your cards. (Apollo has opted to draw 2 Green.) When you're ready, please post your move and action.

On another note, I'm off to Canberra tomorrow for three days. I'll try to keep things moving from there, but I'm not sure what sort of internet access I'll have.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

BSG

Wow. That check was a lot closer than I expected for the low target number. Glad I played my card. I probably won't be able to help much, if at all, with the next crisis, though.

Nice flying, Apollo.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

BSG

Whew. Good roll outs there. Well? Options here, as this is a group game. Should I XO Adama to nuke the undamaged mothership? Or max fire on some of these critters in my sector?

This does seem like a good time to use nukes. I've got an evasive manoevre left if you get into trouble.
