BSG
Unpossible! Can the fleet jump before it's ready? Surely there will be a mass outbreak of the vapours. You should do something about that. Chief's crisis card is:
Medical Breakthrough
Skill Check (12 YGB)
Possible interrupts: IC, Reckless. Everyone, please pass or play.
BSG (Helo)
pass on interrupts. I can help a little.
BSG (Gaeta)
I can help.
Hey, good thing you worked that Engine Room, Prez! Time to blow this ice popsicle stand.
BSG (President)
Hey, good thing you worked that Engine Room, Prez! Time to blow this ice popsicle stand.
Yes! I do what I can for my people.
Pass on interrupts. I can help a little.
BSG(Chiefed Up)
Pass on interrupts, I can help.
BSG
Everyone passes on interrupts.
Medical Breakthrough:
12 YGB
Destiny:
2 cards
Cally:
2 cards
Helo:
1 card
Gaeta:
1 card
Starbuck:
Baltar:
(COs received)
Chief:
COs! Starbuck is next.
BSG
Almost done:
Medical Breakthrough:

Destiny:

Cally:

Helo:
1 card
Gaeta:
1 card
Starbuck:
0 cards
Baltar:

Chief:
Chief Tyrol is last to play.
BSG
We are good to go! It's going to take a while to close off this turn. First, everyone's play:
Medical Breakthrough:
12 YGB
Destiny:
2 cards
Cally:
2 cards
Helo:
1 card
Gaeta:
1 card
Starbuck:
0 cards
Baltar:
1 card
Chief:
2 cards
Cards played:
Consolidate Power 2
Investigative Committee 5
Executive Order 2
Executive Order 2
Major Victory 2
Establish Network 0
Trust Instincts 0
Scout for Fuel 6
Broadcast Location 1
Tally: 13 - 7 = 6. Partial Pass.
But now the Trust Instincts 0 kicks in, and Destiny adds two more cards! They are:
At Any Cost 5
Evasive Manoeuvre 2
Tally: 18 - 9 = 9. Partial Pass.
No effect!
Now we move on to an administrative note. Destiny's second play into that skill check reduced it to 6 cards. I've replenished and reshuffled it. Doing so exhausted the Politics and Leadership decks. I've reshuffled the discards. Note that cards played into this skill check are
not
included. Empty decks get reshuffled immediately, and it occurred before the check was resolved.
The big news, however, is that thanks to Baltar's efforts in the Engine Room, you get a jump icon. That brings your jump prep to the end of the track; the fleet jumps! A choice of destinations is going to the Admiral. Admiral Agathon, when you're ready, please post your choice.
BSG (Helo)
Alright! grab your tankards we have arrived at the Bar planet. Oh wait, I misread that. it's a
Barren Planet.
BSG
The culturally sensitive term is "fertility challenged".
Fuel drops to 6, and Distance increases to 5, bringing you to the Sleeper Phase. That means new loyalty cards are going out, possibly with a musical accompaniment. Is that Hendrix you hear, or are you just getting Rickrolled?
Now that we've reached the Sleeper Phase, I wanted to remind everyone of a couple of matters:
1. Once you reach 8 Distance, we will have the reckoning of the Crossroads. If you find yourself with too much problematic trauma (Benevolent for revealed Cylons, Antagonistic for humans and unrevealed Cylons), you risk being eliminated from the game! You can collect more trauma during the Crossroads resolution, so beware cutting it fine. If you feel overly burdened, the most reliable way to lighten your load is to visit an NPC. Remember that you can only do so during your own Movement Phase.
2. So far this game, no one has used their OPG. It is not my practice to delay things and/or ask players if they'd like to use theirs. If your OPG acts as ain interrupt (Starbuck, Chief, Helo) and you see a situation where you might consider using it, put in COs sooner rather than later (including COs just to say "after this check/decision/whatever, wait for me to decide on my OPG.")
That concludes Chief's turn. Cally's cards are going out. Cally, when you're ready, please post your move and action.
