"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

BSG (Roslin)

I think it could have gone either way, but trust that Apollo is correct regarding his hand. Of course, I'd prefer not to be brigged. But I understand that someone we'd rather not is going to be. It's an untimely crisis.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

BSG (Apollo)

OK, well, let's think through this rationally and see if there's someone who it makes more sense to brig than the others.

If I brig Cally, she can immediately try to get out on her turn, and can use the Quick Fix on the skill check to get her out, but we won't be able to do anything else with her turn, which isn't great but leaves us in not too bad shape. If we fail to get her out, of course, no crisis for her turn, but no help from her shooting cylons in the near future, either

If I brig Roslin, leaving her in the brig is less of a problem as far as doing stuff since her weakness makes activating locations so costly anyway. Although some Communications action would probably be useful about now. She would still be able to XO or Scout or whatever card-based action, right? But she wouldn't get crises cards, so we wouldn't have the benefit of her Religious Visions. The timing on using her turn to get her out of the brig might be fine or might be problematic.

If I brig Dad, I get all the titles, which is just weird. His turn is right before the cylon, so using it to debrig him may make us more vulnerable than we would otherwise be.

Hm.

Anyone who could help a lot with a debrigging skill check that would be hamstrung if you were the one in the brig (and only able to play one card)? [Is that okay to ask per secrecy rules?]

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I think that's ok to ask per secrecy.

Thrive to spite them

Just as an aside, in the games for 2 front I got Flux. We both really like it.

OK, well, lacking further input, let's put Laura in the brig.

Cally, it wouldn't be a terrible idea for you to move to Communications and either see what we've got on those ships or XO me or Dad to engage the enemy.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

BSG (Chief)

Better put that in bold to make it official, or billytea might just brig Cally instead. Ooh, that would be fun. Brig everyone!

I'll ask you to bold these orders, being as they are fairly significant.

Edit: Damn you, Chiefbot!

Apollo blames the Cylon genocide on the failed policies of the previous administration. Take that, Roslincare! Morale falls by 1 as everyone who voted for Roslin takes a good hard look at themselves. Laura Roslin is sent to the Brig!

Next, basestars activate. As there are no basestars on the main board, the pursuit track advances to the final step. The Cylon fleet jumps in!

Lastly, the jump track advances too. That concludes Apollo's turn. Cally's cards are going out. Cally, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

Administrative note: I've changed the manner in which I report the pursuit track. It now shows a countdown to when it reaches the end and the fleet jumps in; thus, in the summary above, it shows that the pursuit track is four steps away from the fleet jumping in.
