I'd rather stay home and watch television. It's often funnier than killing stuff.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I know I'm always wrong about these, but has Apollo ever been human besides the time he was unceremoniously killed in the first round (and replaced by Starbot)?

He has! In games 3, 9 and 13. Interesting trivia: the humans won each of those three games. The Cylons have won every game in which he was a Cylon (excepting the current game, of course, on which the jury's still out). I would need to check further, but I think that makes him easily the most successful character on the Phoenix board. (On boardgamegeek, his performance is much closer to average.)

Everyone's play:

Terrorist Investigations: 12(6) YG

Destiny: 2 cards
Baltar: 0 cards
Cally: 0 cards
Leoben: 1 card
Apollo: 0 cards
Adama: 2 cards
Dee: 1 card

Cards played:

Preventative Policy 3
Major Victory 2
Executive Order 2
Declare Emergency 3
Trust Instincts 0
Repair 1

Tally: 10 - 1 = 9. Partial Pass! However, the Trust Instincts now kicks in, and adds the top two cards from Destiny:

Broadcast Location 1
By Your Command 1

Just as well this check wasn't Reckless. The tally falls by 2 to 7, which is still a partial pass. No effect!

Next, there's a heavy raider activation, and two new vessels launch from the basestars. Alas, Magnus Greel does not advance, having been taken out by a Callytrap. Finally, the jump track advances. That concludes Dee's turn. Baltar's cards are going out. President Baltar, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

BSG (Cally)

Holy crap, whew! Good job, everyone! Partial pass!

Baltar, I would tell you to XO me to repair something, but I suppose you won't. Dee says she can repair something, though, and we could use Command up and running. The other possibility is FTL Control so we can just get out of here quickly and have some time to regroup.

Do you have any awesome quorum cards that can make enemies die?

Do you have any quorum cards that can repair something?

Go to Weapons and fire on the raider in sector 6?

I have orders from Baltar to move to Weapons Control, Discarding an IW-0. What would you like to shoot at, Mr President? Everyone else, you can send me SP and Calcs COs, depending on what he shoots at.

Baltar shoots at the lone raider in Sector 6.

Die roll: 5. Hit! The raider is no more.

As long as you have the good doctor over here, perhaps he would like to try his hand at a little science. Baltar's crisis card is:

Medical Breakthrough
Skill Check 12(6) YGB

Possible interrupts: IC, Reckless. Everyone, please pass or play.
