Sorry, but I couldn't risk the fact that you might be a Cylon. That would mean you'd get a Cylon play, then Cylon Starbuck, then back too you. That's just way too much to lose.

Command activates vipers, not civvies. Did you want to move to Communications, or fire on the raiders?
BSG
Crap, right. That's what I get for posting when I'm tired. Can I move both civvies from Communications, or only one?
BSG
Comms lets you move up to two civvies; Command gives you two RSV activations.
BSG
So it seems like Comms is the safer bet, I can get both Civvies out of the way. With a viper activation I may not get both raiders. Opinions from anyone?
BSG (Dee Batable)
You can use one activation to move an RSV from Sector 6 to Sector 5, and the other to fire on the raiders, and even if you don't take out a raider they'll have to fire on the RSVs before they can get to the civvies.
If you move the civvies, the raiders will have to fire on the RSV in sector 5, move, and then fire on the remaining RSV before they can hit us in any resources. Right? Is that better? It seems better.
Piloting, I really do not have a handle on it.
BSG (Helena)
I think they just destroy the RSV and then move to the next sector. But still it seems to guarantee no loss rather than a chance at destroying the raiders.
BSG (Dee)
I think either way you can keep the civvies safe through one Raider activation, which may or may not happen with your crisis, and then we've got Starbuck's turn so can we really look at longer term effects? I don't know if it'll matter. Wherever you'd rather be for future XOs, since we know you are human, is probably best.
BSG (Cain)
Okay, I use Command to fire on the Raiders
BSG
See, now this is more like it. What kind of Admiral Cain puts saving civilians above the chance to blow Cylons up? Hell, what kind of Admiral Cain puts saving civilians above the chance to blow civilians up?
The viper in Sector 5... fires!
Attack 1: 8. Hit!
Attack 2: 2. Miss.
There's one raider left, but it'll take at least two activations before it can destroy a single civvie. Not that that matters, because Cain's crisis is:
Water Shortage
President's Choice
Water Shortages are in fact Cylons, because there are many copies. Allow me then to inform you that this one has a basestar activation (no effect) and a jump icon (autojump)! President Foster, when you're ready, please post your choice.
