What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

It's not necessary to tell stories, but it makes it more fun, if you are into that sort of thing. I've never tried playing it as a simple card game without embellishing.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Set, and Yikerz.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Ooh, Set might be good. I've never played, but I think it's been recommended to me in every game store I've ever been in. Never heard of Yikerz.

As a bonus, Jeffrey's Toys is less than a block away. I noticed today that there is now Pirate Fluxx.

Loot is also pretty fun, if you like pirates.

There's also Zombie Dice and Cthulhu Dice.

Yikerz is a magnet game [link]

I got mine at ThinkGeek. Looks like it's available at Amazon as well.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

BSG

OK I know I want to Nuke that Basestar but where to move to? Anders has Weapons Control covered. Does anyone have an extra Strategic Planning for this nuke?

I'll move to communications unless someone has a better idea (too soon to jump, right?)

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

BSG

Ok, so, first we need to sort out Helo's move. He's asked if anyone has a better idea than Comms; anyone want to pipe up?

Once we get that dealt with, he's ordered one nukage, extra hot, on that basestar. The roll may be modified by an SP. Everyone, please pass or play.

Finally, I've received some COs for the rest of this State of Emergency. Anyone else who wants to send some in, feel free.

You are going to get one more action at the end of this State of Emergency. If you don't take out the basestar completely and Anders misses, you could be in Weapons Control to try to finish the job. Comms would be nice in case we're attacked again; we have a lot of civvies in the sky. Research Lab would help you get another card. I don't know whether you have anything in your hand to play like a Scout or something.

Basically, think about how you want to use your action at the end of this State of Emergency, and move accordingly.

Pass on interrupts.

How about Guillotine? Not particularly long, and I think it would be okay to be interrupted...

Well, no one seems to have a problem with Comms, so that's where Helo moves. I have passes from everyone on SPs, so we're ready for the nuclear strike (now with added nuclei).

Die roll: 1. Man, the dice have not been kind to you lately. The nuke does two tokens' worth of damage to the basestar:

Structural Damage
Disabled Hangar

It lives! Won't be launching anything, though. That concludes Apollo's XO to Helo, and we move on to the Chief. He has left some orders to, let's see, where did he leave it? Ah, yes:

Reveal as a Cylon
Send Apollo to Sickbay

Apollo, in addition to landing in Sickbay, you must discard 5 cards. Due to your weakness, these discards are random. Let's see what you've got:

Consolidate Power 1
Consolidate Power 2
Declare Emergency 4
Launch Scout 2
Evasive Maneouvre 1

To balance things out, the Chief must also discard 5 cards, down to 3. He moves to the Resurrection Ship and discards:

Support the People 1
Executive Order 1
Declare Emergency 3
Repair 1
Scientific Research 3

Anders is up next, in the next post.
