Helo fires at the basestar:
Die roll: 1 + 2 = 3. The Admiral, being unfamiliar with the controls of this newer basestar, has managed to damage Pegasus instead! Specifically, Pegasus CIC. Oops. Helo returns to Galactica on a stretcher.

And as befits a noble warrior, he was given a Viking funeral. Of course, you can't set his body adrift on a burning longboat just anywhere. You need water. Lots and lots of water. Helo's crisis is:

As for the crisis...cripes, Helo just discarded cards! But Tory wouldn't lose any cards. Yet, losing Food isn't great. I don't know.

Holy frak! I checked at lunch, nothing. I get home from work, 2 million posts. As soon as I saw ND post the scout, I knew he was a Cylon. Frak.
As for the crisis. Helo doesn't have all that many cards, right? I'd rather not drain food resource. And the new President has no cards, so no loss there. (btw, Welcome, new President Tory!)

And the great part is, Gaeta did pretty much nothing to cause it. It's all our BAD CHOICES with some help from the Crisis deck.

Helo received his card draw at turn start, so he currently holds 4 cards. If you choose the discard option, he will go (back) down to 1 card.

Gaeta did set the Jump track back and not shoot at the basestar, setting us back on that front as well.
But, yeah, that Crisis coming after the Reveal was NOT good timing. Only time will tell whether sacrificing Zarek was the right move.
