What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

BSG

Quick, roll the die twice now just for pretend!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

BSG

...3 and 6. You guys had one SP left. If it went on the right roll, you live! if not, ah well. I invite everyone to believe that it totally would've gone down whichever way you find most congenial.

...Yeah, we would have used it on the first one. Also, there was one SP played into the check, so unless either Kat or Tigh held one back in the check, we had none.

So...yeah. We still would have lost. But we would have lost AWESOMELY.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

BSG

Hee, I did keep an SP, just in case we survived long enough to use it. I don't know if I would have used it on the first shot or saved it for the second, though. I am unpredictable that way.

If we had done that, then Tory would have tried to give us a Crisis. What would have been her two choices? Could they have killed our Morale? LET'S PLAY THE HYPOTHETICAL GAME WHERE WE WIN.

You had one SP left after one got played into the check. You had two going in.

Tory would have been able to pick a crisis called (I kid you not) "Joe's Bar", with a 12 YGB check (what the hell kind of bar is this?) to avoid Morale loss. If you'd got it on a human turn, also to avoid the player getting brigged. There were a lot of Morale-affecting crises coming up (not surprising, 43% of all crises can affect Morale). You could maybe have got through, maybe not - it would've been tight.

Oh, and your next jump? The top two destinations were 2 Distance. The third, which was up for grabs thanks to the Mission Specialist, was 3 Distance.

(PS: on your last turn where you picked up 2 Green? If you'd picked up 2 yellow instead, you would've drawn the PoP-6.)

So if Kat had warned us not to play, then we could have used both and we would have killed that damn Centurion.

But we still would have lost on Morale, most likely.

DAMMIT.

I HATE YOU. Of course, I would have used it to spring Tigh, and then he would have been stuck in Joe's Bar, and we would have still lost, so hey.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

BSG

To be fair, the only idea I had was to crash the RSV into the armoury. It wouldn't really have been fair for billytea to suggest that I might make it work with Apollo's ability.

True, but if you had floated the idea, I might have come up with the rest. I had been itching to use that ability.

It's largely irrelevant, though, as we were so low on Morale it was unlikely we would have survived, but given that we could have jumped 3, we would only have had to get three jump icons and get to Kobol. There was a slim chance we could have scraped by. Very slim.

Man, I want to be on the human team and win. It seems like it would be so fulfilling. The Cylons have it so easy.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

BSG

I KNEW IT. I HATE YOU SO MUCH.

Hee. Yeah. Sorry about that.

Ooh, such suspense and terror for you!

It was scary!

That's a crazy awesome going down guns ablaze hypothetical scenario.

The Centurions were effective because they feel so menacing. But the continual morale loss was the real killer here. It kept your resources taxed enough to where you had to keep trying for stuff that dropped it, but you kept losing it, so you had to keep spending cards, etc.

Drew, you're right about the card drain. I think that was what we did best.

And -t, you played Tigh really well. You made good use of the Pradmiralty.
