Settlers is great, but Cities & Knights is a quantum leap forward in awesomeness. Settlers is mostly about bartering, right? C&K keeps that, but introduces elements that cause all the players to constantly choose whether to work together or subtly screw over someone. There's all kinds of great strategy to develop. It's a little like chess and Risk and Monopoly all thrown together, only without the inherent tedium in the latter two. There's a lot of rules, but once you play it once or twice, you can internalize the rules and start playing on a higher level.

Hello!
Does anybody here play Oblivion on the PC, Xbox 360 or PS3? It's amazing.
Yes, we have the Catan games as well. I think we own Knights and Cities but haven't played that one yet, we've been doing just the bast Settlers set.
Well, I think we've answered the question of what we'll play when I come down in May.
Also, if you don't have it, I can bring it down.
Believe me, if we don't have it, we'll get it. We love board games. I'm pretty sure we have it along with the expansion so that we can play up to 6 players.
Yeah, at some point I was going to ask what you have, and whether I should bring anything down (Ticket to Ride Europe, LoTR Risk, Acquire, etc.). You have Bohnanza I believe, no?
I've never played the Catan games, although I have heard of them.
You know what's fun, though? Mall of Horror.
It's essentially Dawn of the Dead: The Board Game.
Whoop! Nice shiny new digs...
Any of you played SET? [link] We played at work recently and it was surprisingly addictive and fun.
I hope to learn something by reading this thread. Do you all feel the immense pressure?
I've played SET, Glam. It's very fun indeed.
