urgh I pass on interrupts and I can't help at all with the check or the die roll.

So would an IC or a SR be better for an interrupt on this check? Is there blue out there that could help us?
If I play my two cards into this check I can help a lot.

Just to be clear, either or both interrupts may be played. There's a limit of one Reckless interrupt on a check, but you could have a check with an IC, an SR and one Reckless interrupt.
BSG SR wouldn't help me.
I'll discard this SP-3.
I HATE YOU.
I can make this check Reckless to help, but Boomer is sure to do something bad to us as a result. Given that Destiny is almost sure to be negative on this check, however, it may behoove us to shoot for an 8 instead of a 12. I just drew Purple, and I can help. An IC wouldn't actually help me, however, since I would just play that card.
Anders, can you help at all? I want to try the check to regain some Fuel. We have several jumps ahead of us, and I'm tired of using up cards for NO EFFECT. At least this time we can get something out of it.
BSG
Not much. I'm away from my spreadsheet right now, but yeah, it would be good to gain Fuel. It's a pretty high roll to try not to lose fuel, especially if we don't have a calcs or something. Boomer still has much bad joo joo coming up, so we don't want to waste cards. And if we lose the check, we'll have lost cards, lost fuel, and a raptor. So it's a tough call.
BSG
There are so few opportunities to regain Fuel that I think we have to go for this.
I choose Option 1 and play Jury Rigged-2 to bring our goal down to 8PR (if anyone has a Guts and Initiative, I would take that over this one).
BSG
I have orders from Cally to play a Scientific Research - 4 on this check. With Baltar's Jury Rigged - 2, this check is now difficulty 8 PRB. Everyone else passes on interrupts.
I have some COs:
Destiny:
2 cards
Boomer:
1 card
Cally:
2 cards
Anders:
Cain:
Baltar:
COs received
Anders is up next.
BSG
Anders plays one card. Cain is next to play.
BSGOk, I'm going to make an executive call. Cain stated:
urgh I pass on interrupts and I can't help at all with the check or the die roll.
I assume then that she wants to pass on this check. I have COs from Baltar to play 1 card, which gives us:
Destiny:
2 cards
Boomer:
1 card
Cally:
2 cards
Anders:
1 card
Cain:
0 cards
Baltar:
1 card
Cards played:
Critical Situation 4
Strategic Planning 5
Full Throttle 1
Run Interference 3
Repair 1
Broadcast Location 1
Broadcast Location 1
Tally: 14 - 2 = 12. Pass! Congratulations, Fuel rises by 1.
Unfortunately, it appear someone hid a beacon on the raptor. They brought back the Fuel, and some company. Broadcast Location adds a basestar to Sector 1, and civilian ship D appears in Sector 4. The timing couldn't be worse, as the raiders activate, and civvie D is unprotected! As is civvie C. Both ships are destroyed, revealing the following contents:
Civvie C:
No resources.
Civvie D:
1 Population, 1 Morale
It looks like the Dionysus was better known in the fleet as the SS HOOKERS AND BLOW. (Now the SS Hookers and Blowed Up.)
The other raiders from Sectors 4 and 6 converge on Sector 5, where their lone compatriot is firing on the vipers:
Die roll = 1. Miss.
Finally, the jump track recovers one of the steps it lost to Boomer's reveal. That concludes Baltar's action-packed turn. Say what you like about President Weasel, but he cerrtainly knows how to bring the drama. Boomer starts her turn on the Resurrection ship, which means she draws only one card. She has opted to draw Treachery. She has also left COs for her turn, which I will enact shortly.
