No goats were harmed by exclusion from this book.
'Our Mrs. Reynolds'
The Great Write Way, Act Three: Where's the gun?
A place for Buffistas to discuss, beta and otherwise deal and dish on their non-fan fiction projects.
So basically, every story is set in the world without goats?
In all seriousness, I like the idea of "dark" or "darkness," but, you know, I proposed it, so.
There are a million things we could toss out there, though. Anyone want to throw some ideas out here and we can compile a list?
I'm not anti-goat...I just couldn't write about one. But one of my favorite books in the world Even Cowgirls Get The Blues has many in it.
How about a monkey riding a goat?
...for the cover, I mean. Or, y'know, just as an idea in and of itself.
Can we also compile a list of Buffista writers?
There's me, Amy, Jilli, Hec, Deb Grabien, erikaj, Barb, Burrell, Connie Neil, Gud, erinaceous, Miracleman...
Old school Buffista writers are Rio, and I think we had an NYT reporter. Unsure who else is doing writing off the top of my head, but there's that.
Themes could be Buffistas related, like Raising the Stakes, Champions, blah blah television.
Also Knut, right? Or am I misremembering? David something who wrote the superheroes book?
Was that Knut?
It was another David? I'm not sure. I still want to get that book, though, whoever wrote it.
Here are some words I like that I think could be interpreted a lot of ways, and which would suit us:
dark
power
self
community
hero
face
Yes, Knut wrote the superhero book. David Schwartz.
