It's simple. I slap 'em around a bit, torture 'em, make their lives hell...Sure, the nice guys'll run away, but every now and then you'll find a prince like Spike who gets off on it.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Just read it, and agree with you on the stickiness of the vampire bat chapter. Loved your feedback! So happy.

Our wings are not tired.

Re-reading for more coherent details on that. I read through quickly just jotting quick notes so as to not interrupt the flow. The rhythm and flow from chapter to chapter was so smooth and the transitions very clever. Going back now on that chapter to see why I didn't think it flowed as well.

Allyson, you have a wonderful talent for telling a story. I felt like a little kid sitting at your feet listening to tales with eyes wide open.

Back to re-read and get all nit picky again!

Sorry I didn't get past chapter two. I'm a bit over-committed this weekend.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Allyson, may I let Kara read it? She's 3rd grade, so close to your target audience. The profile addy's good.

I'd be honored. Insent.

No worries, Gud. I'm in the midst of beta reading a book on arrow of time, and woefully behind. I feel your over-committed.

I was under the impression that the clock ran out this weekend, but if commenting past that time is useful, I can do more.

Thanks, Allyson!

"Oh, he's a bat! And so is his mom!"..."He's a boy. No one likes girl stories like I do."..."Ohhh, he's only one inch tall!"

And now there's complete silence.

That's great! Unless the silence is because she tossed it in the recycling bin and went outside to play.

I expected feedback from both beta reader exchange people this weekend and no love. I know people get busy but the thing that keeps going through my mind is that nobody is getting back with me because it sucks so bad.
