They did make one inspired by the same source but wearing a paramedic uniform on a recent ep! It was adorable!
I think if I know someone well enough to invite them to my wedding, I'll know their SO's name and put it on the invitation so no "and guest" will be necessary. (Or they're an obligatory family invite, I'll be able to find that info out.)
OTOH, if you don't include "and guest" as an option for your single invitees, they're likely to RSVP for 2 anyway, so you may as well account for it when you're sending the cards out.

Horrible, although I kind of like its cousin "upsell," since it is such a pithy way to describe the whole "You want fries with that" thing.
