Oh! Um, do any LAistas want to have dinner on Tuesday? I'll be in LA...usual spot up by UCLA, though doing different things for a whole other company.

I'd love to see you, meara. How early will you be done, do you think? ND will be working in Costa Mesa, so I can't stay on the Westside too late or the hungry cats will never forgive me.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

School API scores are out!

It's sad that my thought was, "There's an API for schools? You can program them??? DAMN! Wish I'd known that!"

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

It's appallingly cute. What does an owl say? Hoo! What does a cat say? Mao! What does a dog say? Woo! What does a motorcycle say? Zum!

Ask her what a turtle says. That'll be an imagination starter! (My brother's response some 46 years ago was "Turd turd.")

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

"There's an API for schools? You can program them??? DAMN! Wish I'd known that!"

Can you imagine the mashups?

Meara, doubt I can make it to dinner, but if you can grab lunch or coffee, maybe I can do that.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I have no idea how late I'll be working, Kristin--I'll be with someone else, so my schedule really won't me mine, I"m afraid--I don't want to promise anything. Probably not any kind of after-hours craziness, but I don't know that it'll be early, either. It's possible, but no promises. Probably 9-5.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Not just you, Plei...

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Film crews were gone yesterday when I came home from work. They might be back again today, but who knows?

Just as well. I'm lazy when I don't have to be somewhere and I've been trapped by sleeping cats much of the day.

I wonder if/when they'll be around the Biograph? I spent 2 weeks working just down the street and didn't see any film activity.

Oh good, that's not bad at all. I'll be tutoring at school until 4:15 anyway. I can kill some time and meet you for dinner if you want.
