Anya: We should drop a piano on her. It always works for that creepy cartoon rabbit when he's running from that nice man with the speech impediment. Giles: Yes, or perhaps we could paint a convincing fake tunnel on the side of a mountain.

I have no idea how late I'll be working, Kristin--I'll be with someone else, so my schedule really won't me mine, I"m afraid--I don't want to promise anything. Probably not any kind of after-hours craziness, but I don't know that it'll be early, either. It's possible, but no promises. Probably 9-5.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Not just you, Plei...

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Film crews were gone yesterday when I came home from work. They might be back again today, but who knows?

Just as well. I'm lazy when I don't have to be somewhere and I've been trapped by sleeping cats much of the day.

I wonder if/when they'll be around the Biograph? I spent 2 weeks working just down the street and didn't see any film activity.

Oh good, that's not bad at all. I'll be tutoring at school until 4:15 anyway. I can kill some time and meet you for dinner if you want.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Today was the wrong day for my dentist to harp on how badly I need braces to make my smile pretty.

Just, wrong day.

Yay! I'll call you at some point in the afternoon when I know more about when she wants to wrap up.

And if any other LAistas want to join us, the more the merrier! I'm sure I"ll be back again, too. She's apparently swamped there, and I"m her new "backup"

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Perkins, The Venitian was nice, I think they have a new sister hotel too. Mr. Jane's boss was at MGM which sounded good, but I thought The Venitian was plenty luxurious.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So that's a no on lunch, meara?

meara - May 21, 2008 2:03:55 pm PDT #8257 of 10001

Possible, but unlikely, ita--I won't really know until day of. More likely Wednesday afternoon? We might finish early [I get in late Monday night, we work Tues/Wed]. You want I should just give you a call or post here if it happens? If not, well, like I said, I should be back...

I'm little Miss Unreliable myself, so just holler as you see fit/have a clue.

I think today I go to ER straight from work. Driving home and cabbing over seems a waste of time and money when I can just bus it from here.

Especially that time thing.
