Aw, Ellen and Portia are getting married!
Sweet! It's funny, she was just recently saying on her show that she's been engaged a long time, and is just waiting for the go-ahead to get married. (She was busting on someone straight who has been engaged for a long time, and the other person was like, "Yeah, but how long have you been engaged?")
I had no idea Ellen was 50! She looks awesome! I'm happy for them.
Ellen has had some excellent work done over the last couple of years -- which was apparent when she was recently showing clips from early in the show's run. She does look great, though.
This weekend plans: I am leaving for the summer! Ack! So not ready! Ack, ack!
I should get off the internets then, huh?
Weekend
Today: HH with coworker and his roommate who both played hookie today to hang out by the pool.
Saturday: Anniversary, so romantic dinner and then drinks.
Sunday: Visit with other coworker over bloody marys.

Liese, where are you going for the summer?
Weekend: Taking cat into the vet in a few hours, then dropping her off at home and heading over to the grocery store and/or Trader Joe's. Then laundry, dishes, and Sci-Fi Friday.
Saturday: Working at B&N for the first time in about 10 days, then getting the rest of the apartment cleaned so I can veg and possibly go see Iron Man on Sunday.
I am now doubting my decision for the high fat/sugar lunch. probably not the best thing for my mood.
Did I mention that my parents have finally sold their house and farm? The closing is (I think) on the 31st.
Which means I have to go up there and fetch my Lincoln. So I might go up this weekend to check things out, and then maybe drive it here the following weekend....
