Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ellen has had some excellent work done over the last couple of years -- which was apparent when she was recently showing clips from early in the show's run. She does look great, though.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

This weekend plans: I am leaving for the summer! Ack! So not ready! Ack, ack!

I should get off the internets then, huh?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Sounds like an excellent and laid-back weekend, DJ!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Weekend: Taking cat into the vet in a few hours, then dropping her off at home and heading over to the grocery store and/or Trader Joe's. Then laundry, dishes, and Sci-Fi Friday.

Saturday: Working at B&N for the first time in about 10 days, then getting the rest of the apartment cleaned so I can veg and possibly go see Iron Man on Sunday.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Did I mention that my parents have finally sold their house and farm? The closing is (I think) on the 31st.

Which means I have to go up there and fetch my Lincoln. So I might go up this weekend to check things out, and then maybe drive it here the following weekend....

Oh dear. Apparently my proxy godmotherhood is causing heated debate between friend and her pastor (priest? Crap. I don't know this stuff. Good thing I'm the proxy) regarding eligibility criteria.

I have a feeling she may need to find a new proxy. Which...well, that'd be too bad for me, but I was asked and that's all that counts.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

We had PB&J for lunch which was okish.

Wow. Suddenly PB&J with a big glass of milk sounds like the best thing EVER.
