I'm guessing if Tim can get online (which he can), he's not in the pokey.

Wait, wait. If a collect call from a prison (actually, ANY collect call) doesn't identify who's calling, why in the hell would anyone accept?
That doesn't seem right.

Maybe he's got a deal worked out with the Crime Dog.

Well if you knew you had a loved one in that jail you'd maybe accept.
But why would someone make a random collect call from prison? I wonder if you can get the charges refunded if it turns out to be a wrong number.

Okay. I can see that. But what if it's your loved one calling for bail? If you don't know they've been arrested, and you don't know it's them calling collect, and you're like me (i.e., wouldn't accept an unidentified collect call), your loved one is SOL.
Accept it, Allyson! I'll totally cover the charges.
I probably shouldn't have watched that "Women who love bad men" episode of "Secret Lives of Women." But it could be Eric Menendez.
I would pay the $5 or so just to end the suspense. Otherwise I'd always wonder.
I am not in jail, but is sure feels like I am...
Yeah, it's just ..."a collect call from ------, LA County Jail."
And then I hang up.
But it's been happening for TWO DAYS.
