I had my hair cut this morning and then I went our public garden's open house. I got oh so many differnt types of seeds, and little tomoato and butterfly bush plants. Now my cat Pico is sniffing me up and down because I was playing with my hairdressers dog while I was waiting, and I seem to have the dog stink on me.
I also got my hair cut this morning and was playing with my hairdresser's dog! Well, not so much playing. She was sitting on my lap because she is Obsessed! with her owner, and wants to be as close as possible. She trots behind her when she walks through the studio. It's cute.
Bucket o' Matilda is the Cutest.
Matilda is adorable!
We just got back from the fireman's pancake breakfast. Noah says pancakes are a win!
Matilda is too adorable.
I'm getting my hair cut and colored right now, AIFG!
Check out Perkins with the multi-tasking!

Saturday, not today. Well, at least they're renewed now....
I bought some henna for my hair. Going to try it out sometime this weekend, I think.
I was going to go for a bike ride today, but it's too cold. Maybe I'll just take a short ride to the bike shop -- I want to get those grocery bag basket things for the back of my bike.
I've been struggling with the fact that with all the campaign fighting and everything going on, it's hard not to get depressed sometimes. But you know, there's actually some really cool shit happening:
Fewer than 50% of the Democrats in the United States House and United States Senate combined are white, male, straight and Christian.
That's pretty cool.
I'm still a bit freaked about my cat. She's drinking (some) water, eating a little bit, but she still hasn't pooped and only peed a little. The doctor called with the final test results this morning, and she's a bit concerned about her (misshapen on the x-ray) kidney and its output. If she doesn't use the litter box more before Monday, I should bring her back in to have her looked at again. Also, her fever is still around, although I don't think it's as high as it was yesterday.
Pose #3 I've actually done in Yoga! I think it's called Frog pose, and is indeed a runner-up to the handstand.
It looks like crow pose (bakasana) to me.

Frog is a hip opener done on the ground; it's not a balancing pose if I'm remembering correctly. yes

Crow is my NEMESIS! I've been trying to do it for...oh, years now, and I'm just no good at it. It has something to do with my center of balance but also I'm just kind of a pussy about not wanting to fall on my face. I can do a headstand and I can do a handstand (well, against the wall) but crow continues to elude me. I'm pretty sure Kat can do it.
