Am I supposed to be changing my clothes a lot? Is that the helpful thing to do?

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

or end up childless and alone.

And it is this horrible horrible outcome that is seen as a fate worse than death in our society that totally pushes my buttons. Screaming, ranty, I want to kill something buttons.

Does anyone ever think that some are not breeding and gloriously free from encumbrance on purpose?

No, there must be something horribly wrong with you if you don't want a partner and don't want to breed. Or I guess, you could just be male.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

From the time I was a toddler until nursery school I spent the day with an aunt or a neighbor who ran daycare out of her house, and don't feel that my childhood was a howling void of trauma as a consequence of Mom working and not being around me every minute of my formative years. Guess I'm one of the lucky few who weren't forever scarred by having a working mother.

Oh, guys get the same thing. We're not stereotypically expected to be very involved in the actual child rearing (aside from threatening suitors of teenage daughters), but not wanting kids or being all that eager to couple up is seen as a sign of something gravely amiss.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

or end up childless and alone.

Yep. I guess I'm destined to be a sad cautionary tale.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

It's the cult of parenting.

Seriously. There's no humor. Only Precious Moments.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Well, at least the ridiculous expectations and strange judgment isn't overly sexist, Matt. Thanks.
