What I heard on NPR this morning just made me roll my eyes forever that there are still (apparently) all these women running around assuming that not having kids until they are 40 is no problem. If I ever do get pregnant, it will be in my late 30s, and there are good reasons for that, but I am under no misapprehension about the biological realities of things.

Possibly because I am not a biological mom, the NPR article didn't ping me. It read just as facts, not judgemental.
Yeah, I'm wondering if the radio version was different, because nothing in that article strikes me as ping-y. (Or news, but that's a whole nother issue.)
Jessica, it was, for me, the stay at home mom bit. It's in the program but not on the article.
Wow. I am more emotionally scarred than I realized by my father's poor bathroom etiquette!
thx Kat!

This was my thought exactly when I read that. I waited and screwed myself, but I wasn't unaware that that was a possibility.
No problem. As I am at "work" with nothing to do. Except write my AP syllabus (due June 1) for next year.
Ooh, ice cream.
Did I tell you folks that I have ginger ice cream? It is just about the best thing EVAR.
I have a quart of heavy cream at home and half a bag of pistachios. I should turn those into ice cream this weekend.
