I can't stop yawning very loudly, and my office is frickin' freezing and the jacket I'm wearing isn't stopping me from shivering. Combine all this with the fact that when I'm really tired and can't stop yawning, my eyes also tend to water and I'm sniffling because I'm damn cold, so I'm running through kleenex like whoa.
This day really sucks.
I will stay and complete today (we only need one of us to do that, right?) - as I am being productive and doing ACTUAL WORK! In addition to getting some personal stuff done also.
I think I may have accomplished something today. I'm kind of weirded out at the idea, but tentatively pleased.
weirded out that you accomplished something or by the thing you accomplished?
I am dying trying to get something in writing about my unavailability. Gr. ARgh.
It was a herding cats sort of a task, so it feels weird to finally have it checked off. No worries--I'm sure its place will be filled with five more catherding tasks before lunch is over. Speaking of which, where is my appetite? I didn't even make it through breakfast popcorn!
Speaking of food, my sister wants me to pimp her friend's food blog. I haven't had a chance to look at it in detail, but it is certainly very pretty, and my sister is the sort of person that makes friends with the kind of obsessives that would make good quality blog, iffen you know what I mean.
What unavailability, Kat?
Well, I'm on loan to your employer, ita, until May 31. The contract with your employer and the district ends on May 21. I am being picked up for an extra month at School Site A for the month of June. In my mind and your employer's mind, I am therefore not able to work at the School Site (especially legally since the contract is done) from May 22 to June 1. The principal doesn't like that idea.
I'm annoyed because I can't get that slide show to work, all it gives me is a stupid ad for Dodge. Lame-o. And I so wanted some distraction from grading.
I'm stoked! There's a Milk and Bookies event (which benefits First Book) at the end of the month that I'll take Noah too. But what cracks me up is how Hadyn What'shername looks in the picture of her reading at the last event.
