Most people aren't so lucky and get screwed by companies raising rates as high as 30%.

That'd be me. Well, 23.99%, fuck you very much Bank of America. So I took my CC balance over to a 0% card from my local bank. I have about $8,000 left to pay off, which I should be able to do easily by the end of the calendar year. Unfortunately the 0% only lasts until October of this year, and then it goes up to a rate that I really ought to figure out well before then, so I can either talk to the bank or re-transfer the balance.

But really, nothing was as sweet as moving $12,000 away from BoA. Fuck them and their deceptive shit, like moving the due date UP without informing the customer. Suck it, BoA.

Is a Boilermaker a beer and a shot? I don't think that counts as a cocktail.

You fancy New Yorkers and your cocktails...

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Suck it, BoA.

Due to some shit they did to us earlier this year, Imma second this.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You fancy New Yorkers and your cocktails...

Hmph.

Gah -- I just realized the thing I'm doing tonight (TAL in a movie theater! Who knows why) isn't until 8pm. I don't think I'll make it!

I will say that I've been pretty pleased with Household as my credit card company. I only have the one card now which had the minimum limit available when I first got it two years ago, but as I've been rebuilding my rating and made regular payments on time and in larger-than-the-minimum amounts, they've bumped up my credit limit in $200 increments every year. No changes in the due date, easy on-line payment, and minimal hassling to get additional services (which I'd have to pay for, no thank you very much!).

I'm glad to see the original Sazerac cocktail on the list, as it was the drink I used to make for myself at home when I could drink alcohol.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

My mom just forwarded me Lolcats. Time it everyone! That's one year for a trend to start on the internets, and get to moms!

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Anthony Stewart Head on Paris Hilton:

Former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Anthony Head has described Paris Hilton as "sweet" and "odd".

The actor, who starred opposite the socialite in the upcoming Repo: The Genetic Opera, told The Guardian: "Oh, she's really sweet. She's odd, bless her, but I guess you'd have to be. I liked her, we got on fine. She just kind of curled up in her make-up chair and then occasionally fell asleep as her make-up was being put on, because all the time we were there she was out hosting parties.

"That's what she does for a career when she's not acting - she turns up to parties and they pay her. She was flying off all over the place so she was a bit knackered.

"She seemed a bit of a lost soul, a bit of a little girl in a strange world of somebody's making. I don't know whose."

Head's new series The Invisibles begins tonight on BBC One.
