I just buy a new warch. Because everytime I replace the battery, it dies again within a month or so. It's not the battery. It's me and my watch-poisoning talent.

Word. Though mine is not a watch-poisoning talent. It's really that it's easier to buy a new one than to make a special trip to get it replaced.

My superpower is pretty lame.

I'm experienced in replacing watch batteries (my dad taught us) but it's pointless. I can usually get a couple years out of a new watch.

(Watch the one I've had maybe 4 months die tomorrow.)

My other superpower appears to be a talent in picking bananas that peel defectively.

You and your long distances!

Is it ever going to stop raining today? I'd check the Sun's weather page except our network is messed up such that a lot of the internet is dark. And emails are taking on the order of an hour to reach their destination. Even when it is just a cc to yourself. So now I'm wondering if I actually sent an email or if I accidentally deleted it.

I'm typoing every.damned.thing today...

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Blech. I was going to go grocery shopping today, but it's raining too hard for me to feel like walking to the store. I've got tofu and a few vegetables, so I can make something with that.
