"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We're at the old place and we left more ''little stuff'' behind than we thought. At least a few trips worth. We're loading both cars up tonight and the rest will have to wait until at least tomorrow.

Vute cut! I really like the back.

The forksticks, I don't like. I don't know why.

Great cut, Laga! Those forksticks baffle me. If I want a fork, I'll get a fork; if I want chopsticks, I'll get chopsticks.

Spork, accept no substitutes.

Nice cut, Laga.

I'm making vegetable broth from leftover vegetable scraps I've been storing in a bag in my freezer. (This is the first time I've actually made the broth in time. The last two times I had this idea, I ended up with a bag of freezer-burned vegetables by the time I got around to deciding to make the broth.) Smells pretty good, though a bit heavy on the onions. I've got some potatoes and carrots I can add in, though.

Hey, you're never gonna give him up!

ok, this started the string of posts that caused me to laugh so loud it required explainin' to the family.

Laga, the cut is fabulous.

Just put six pints of vegetable broth into freezer containers. Still have what looks like another pint or so that I guess I'll use in the next few days. I feel very industrious.

You are industrious! I love to cook, but 97% of my veggie broth comes from a box that I find on a shelf at the grocery store.

I usually use either the box stuff or the powdered stuff, but the box stuff is pricey and the powdered stuff is kind of gross, plus this way I've got more control over the salt.

Well done, Hil! I am very good at sticking veggie scraps in a bag in the freezer, but the making them into soup part I haven't managed in a long time..
