Fred: It's the pictures in my mind that are getting me. It's like being stuck in a really bad movie with those Clockwork Orange clampy things on my eyeballs. Wesley: Why imagine? Reality's disturbing enough.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Just put six pints of vegetable broth into freezer containers. Still have what looks like another pint or so that I guess I'll use in the next few days. I feel very industrious.

You are industrious! I love to cook, but 97% of my veggie broth comes from a box that I find on a shelf at the grocery store.

I usually use either the box stuff or the powdered stuff, but the box stuff is pricey and the powdered stuff is kind of gross, plus this way I've got more control over the salt.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Well done, Hil! I am very good at sticking veggie scraps in a bag in the freezer, but the making them into soup part I haven't managed in a long time..

Yeah, that's my usual pattern. I think this is the first time that I actually got all the way to the making broth part.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

We're at the CalArts graduation. It is amusingly unique. Also endless. Of course the theater degrees are last.

The ceremony started at 6.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Cute new hairstyle, Laga!

I'm definitely impressed with your industriousness, Hil.

I went to a dinner party, which was quite fun. Especially the mojitos. Amusingly, the party was a housewarming for someone who I met the very first weekend I was in town, because she was dating a friend of a friend from DC.

She is now dating the one friend I already knew in Seattle. Small world!!

Sadly, although the dinner party was awesome, I then proceeded to ruin it by going dancing and depressing myself by expecting the GILF to be someone she is not. Because I am dumb. Oy. Also, how does she manage to collect awesome people about her? Because much as I am BITTER and super JEALOUS, I also really like the new one she is seeing. (GRRRRRRRRRRRR)
