Giles: I'm sure we're all perfectly safe. Dawn: We're safe. Right. And Spike built a robot Buffy to play checkers with. Tara: It sounded convincing when I thought it.

'Dirty Girls'

Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I was going to post our broken van on Craigslist, but I think I'll nap first.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Thank you so much, everyone. Beverly, it's been especially helpful to hear about your tripod kitty. I have hope that--once he's healed--Byron will enjoy the heck out of the rest of his life. That's the only reason to do something like this, really.

Okay, deep breath. I'm going to eat something (finally) and wait for the surgeon to call to let me know how the surgery went.

meara, tons of phone~ma.

Sigh. Talked to the lady, she hasn't heard any word--I'm really hoping it's just that the people who make the decisions got busy with other things (the speed of this may be important to ME but not to them!) and left early for Easter. Ay.

Signs I am A Pack Rat: I have been going through boxes and sorting things out and putting in other boxes, and I have various ticket stubs, programs, and letters dating back to middle school. I have my admissions letter to Georgetown. Randomness! But kinda cool, in my mind. If I were a scrapbooker, this would all be in scrapbooks. Instead, it has made the leap from "in big shoeboxes" to "in semi-nice looking colorful boxes from IKEA"

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I use old ticket stubs as bookmarks. Since I reread a lot, I like picking up a book and finding a ticket stub in there.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I use old ticket stubs as bookmarks.

I do this too!

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Talk more, people! SO BORED!

Sorry, am about to head back to the other room to do some more box-sortage.

You talking about concert ticket stubs? I save all those in a small accordion file and keep them organized by date. Why yes, I am in library school!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I'm off to Nashville, leaving waaaay later than I should. There is scary traffic in my future. On the other hand, I got a huge amount done in the last 8 hours. There's nothing like not wanting to leave to concentrate your thoughts.

I'll be thinking about Byron.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I'm about to go hang out with the girls and then go see one of my favorite local bands for the second and third time this week. [link]
