Wash: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction. Zoe: We live in a space ship, dear. Wash: So?

'Objects In Space'

Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I'm about to go hang out with the girls and then go see one of my favorite local bands for the second and third time this week. [link]

I save all those in a small accordion file and keep them organized by date. Why yes, I am in library school!

I am reminded of the time when I had to catalogue someone's collection of old event tickets from a local history collection at a small town library. It doesn't take long to get very dismayed at people's collections when one is slogging through trying to get high school play programs, old feed store invoices, and orange wrappers to fit into standard MARC format.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I know I'm being petty but I just got off the phone with T, and I'm pissed off. I got the information about where an old friend that T and I lost touch with is living, and I passed the information on to T, so that we could both write to her. T just called and said she was going to write a letter to her telling her about everyone, including TCG and I and our engagement. I politely asked her if I could be the one to share that information and she essentially said no.

You're not being petty. All you can do now is beat her to the punch by sending an announcement to the old friend first.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's not petty--tell her to get her own news to share. I'd just call the friend instead of relying on the post.

Too late. T is more organized than me and already has a letter ready to go to the post office.

I only have the address.

I have nothing nice to say about T's choice, sj, so I'll zip it. It is hot button behaviour for me.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That was pretty rude of T, sj. I apologize on behalf of my letter.

I have all my bills paid except the ones that are actual paper bills and somewhere amongst the piles of paper that I need to sort through and get in order. It's too bad that I have no desire whatsoever to do that.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

sj, that's...I'm sorry, but I just don't understand why T would do that. It seems incredibly rude to me.
