[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Talk more, people! SO BORED!
Sorry, am about to head back to the other room to do some more box-sortage.
You talking about concert ticket stubs? I save all those in a small accordion file and keep them organized by date. Why yes, I am in library school!
I'm off to Nashville, leaving waaaay later than I should. There is scary traffic in my future. On the other hand, I got a huge amount done in the last 8 hours. There's nothing like not wanting to leave to concentrate your thoughts.
I'll be thinking about Byron.
I'm about to go hang out with the girls and then go see one of my favorite local bands for the second and third time this week. [link]

I am reminded of the time when I had to catalogue someone's collection of old event tickets from a local history collection at a small town library. It doesn't take long to get very dismayed at people's collections when one is slogging through trying to get high school play programs, old feed store invoices, and orange wrappers to fit into standard MARC format.
I know I'm being petty but I just got off the phone with T, and I'm pissed off. I got the information about where an old friend that T and I lost touch with is living, and I passed the information on to T, so that we could both write to her. T just called and said she was going to write a letter to her telling her about everyone, including TCG and I and our engagement. I politely asked her if I could be the one to share that information and she essentially said no.

You're not being petty. All you can do now is beat her to the punch by sending an announcement to the old friend first.
That's not petty--tell her to get her own news to share. I'd just call the friend instead of relying on the post.
