Oh, I wish those council guys would let me have an hour alone in the room with her, if I was larger and had grenades.

Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

House~ma, Raq.

And health~ma to Nicole.

Heart ~ma, Nicole!

Lung ~ma, Kristin!

House ~ma, Raq! We planned our first big trip to Home Depot carefully, because of the extra 10% you get off the first time you use the credit card. Now that Spring has arrived, I appreciate my neighbors more and more because they've given us access to all their gardening tools and I can get through the season without buying anything.

good call! Never having been homeowners, we need everything. Including serious renovation tools, as we are going to have to knock a bunch of walls out. I think we're going to hire a professional to do the bathrooms, though.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Kristin, I'm very glad you decided to go to the ER last night - trouble breathing is NOT something you want to mess with! (And also woo-hoo for the invention of the nebulizer. When I was an asthmatic little baby, the only thing they could do was give me a shot of adrenaline and hope for the best...I mean, obviously I survived, but I spent a LOT of time in the hospital growing up.)

Trapeze lessons, fun!

I know this is from way back, but...7 is a late dinner? Wow - we usually eat around 8:30, and I've never thought of it as particularly late. (Except the baby, who eats dinner at 6 so he can go to bed at 7:30.) I'm not honestly sure what we'll do when he's old enough to be sharing the same food with us - probably start eating closer to 6:30-7 and moving his bedtime to 8. When I'll get to cook dinner I have no idea. Maybe that will finally be the year I buy a crock pot.

I'm Googling for kayak package trips on the Hudson and Delaware rivers. Obviously D's too young but maybe my sister could babysit for a weekend while DH and I go kayaking. It's that time of year where I need OUTDOOR THINGS.
