Lorne: You know what they say about people who need people. Connor: They're the luckiest people in the world. Lorne: You been sneaking peeks at my Streisand collection again, Kiddo? Connor: Just kinda popped out.

'Time Bomb'

Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

:: stands with SJ on this one :: Most of the time I'm like "screw 'em if they can't take a joke. It's my life, bugger off". But kids are the worst. They just stare and stare and stare. Quadropeds unite! (I'll stop now.)

Thanks. Sorry that you have to deal with the same thing.

The Essence of Literature: A Case Study in Oral History

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

ShitshitshitshitshitshitSHIT.

DH just called to tell me Dylan threw up all of his breakfast, and then all of the bottle he had to replace it. Instead of taking him to daycare, he decided to put him down for his morning nap at home. I'm waiting for the doctor to call me back, but I need this fucking cold/flu season to END. NOW. I want my kid healthy, damnit.

(And on a practical level, I'm very close to running out of sick days before we're even halfway through the year. I have other PTO I can use if necessary, but goddamnit. Sometimes I wish I could afford to just stay home, even though I know in the long run it would drive me insane. But right now all I want to do is go home and be with my baby. Fuck.)

Because books.

Aw, that's so hard, Jess. Poor baby! You're right, too -- poor guy (poor both of you) have been sick way too much this season.
