And we live to fight another day.

Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

ShitshitshitshitshitshitSHIT.

DH just called to tell me Dylan threw up all of his breakfast, and then all of the bottle he had to replace it. Instead of taking him to daycare, he decided to put him down for his morning nap at home. I'm waiting for the doctor to call me back, but I need this fucking cold/flu season to END. NOW. I want my kid healthy, damnit.

(And on a practical level, I'm very close to running out of sick days before we're even halfway through the year. I have other PTO I can use if necessary, but goddamnit. Sometimes I wish I could afford to just stay home, even though I know in the long run it would drive me insane. But right now all I want to do is go home and be with my baby. Fuck.)

Because books.

Aw, that's so hard, Jess. Poor baby! You're right, too -- poor guy (poor both of you) have been sick way too much this season.

I feel ya, Jessica. Hell, overshooting my days off to deal with Emeline Sick Days got me fired from a job. But no way no how was I not taking care of Da Punk and Aimee didn't get paid sick days at the time.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{Jessica}}} I hope Dylan is feeling better soon.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, poor Dylan, and poor you, Jess. Wrestling with time off and sick babies and work expectations all just sucks.

I am so bored.

"How bored are you, MM?"

I am so bored that I am reading a .pdf of the Majestic-12 Special Operations Manual regarding the acquisition and handling of extraterrestrial technology and biological entities (living and non-living).
