Em, do you mean something like, "Literary Essence as it Relates to Oral History"?
Xander ,'Get It Done'
Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
No, I guess I was thinking more like, "This is the Essence of Literature," but now that I think of it that doesn't convey any more information than yours. Never mind. I'm not very good at the title game.
Thanks anyways, you!
Titles are usually what comes to me first, so trying to do this last is really throwing me off.
Though, at a much higher level than high school :).
True dat. It was the best example I could think of, seeing as I have had no lit. classes since high school (had enough A.P. credits to meet the need). So, other than Oral Histories, what other forms of Capital-L Lit. are university students exposed to, that most people do not realize are Lit., that I may be missing out on?

Beats me. And the idea of Oral History as literature isn't widely accepted...that's a big part of my argument. I was more commenting on the quality, not the idea. Sorry!
Completely unrelated to the thesis, I just uploaded the pictures I took of the kids yesterday at after school. It was a rough day, but they were still pretty cute. This is one of my preschoolers playing dress up: [link] Yes, she is, in fact, wearing a poodle skirt on her head.
The rest of the pictures are locked, because I can't just have their pictures out on the web, but I felt like I could share this one. They are TOO funny.
:: stands with SJ on this one :: Most of the time I'm like "screw 'em if they can't take a joke. It's my life, bugger off". But kids are the worst. They just stare and stare and stare. Quadropeds unite! (I'll stop now.)
Thanks. Sorry that you have to deal with the same thing.
