Early: Where'd she go? Simon: I can't keep track of her when she's not incorporeally possessing a space ship. Don't look at me.

Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

See also, the term "girl's night."

I think they think "women" is too "old" or formal, and many of us rightly object to being called girls. They sometimes use "ladies." I don't respond to them, in any case, becaue I have work to do during the day and don't have time to lollygag in restaurants.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Ginger, I'm so sorry. The sentiment behind the card is what counts, so I'd send one, even though it feels totally inadequate.

I'm sorry about the sucky Monday everyone. It appears to have struck the DC area as well. Why can't it leave us ALONE?

amych, that's just cruel and wrong. You should have immediately presented the cable company with a writ of habeus cable internet.

Stephanie, all the best to your SiL! May it be quick and easy!

Enough with the snow. It's spring already.

Miracleman, your daughter is adorable. You, on the other hand, will rot in the bowels of hell for the following statement:

Airwolf sucked, though.

Airwolf did not suck. It was fabulous in its cheestastic-ness. Vortex agrees with me. Do not argue with boobies.

She ended up calling him Johnson (because my mom and dad have this old tradition of calling each other by their last name and my niece picked it up from my mom. Plus, I think that my dad gets a kick out of it because of the name thing)

Oh, that's rich! Gotta love irony.

I am HORRIFIED at Teppy's office. Where's Scola with links when you need him? (Bwah! I knew he'd come through!) It also sounds like MM's Fuckcakes o' the Day are internal as well as external. People! This is not American Idol. Singing is not your job.

Tell me not to quit my job or set fire to the building ala Milton. Quick.

Riiiiiight. Why tell you not to do something that would be beneficial to your mental health? Oh, yeah, the need for a paycheck.

You're not whiny. It's Monday. There's nothing good that can come out of this day.

No, he'll argue with the boobies, because he lives in hope that they will crush him and he'll die a happy man.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I just rearranged my CD case so that if someone flips through it Blink 182 and the Miss Congeniality 2 soundtrack (hey, it was free!) are not the first 2 discs. Yes I am a dork.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I loved Airwolf, too. Add more boobies.

Doesn't anyone read Miss Manners anymore?

Not since she sent a C&D letter to Jilli.

I'm sort of glad I don't have to deal with office crap anymore.

The quick test I had this morning did not indicate strep throat but they're doing the overnight test and will call with the results. Throat still hurty and swallowing is agony. I'm subsisting on Cloraseptic and creamy foods.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Yeah, I'm glad I don't have to deal with office crap anymore, either.

Also, I can haz LOAN!

That's a good feeling. And Susan, if it's cheering at all, my credit rating is not very good (though it keeps improving, and this loan will help).

I love my Bitches! Airwolf for the broody win!

No, he'll argue with the boobies, because he lives in hope that they will crush him and he'll die a happy man.

Dear, I think we ALL live with that hope. *g*

Oh Cash, I hope you feel better. It sounds like you've got what I had last month. The doc gave me what he called "Magic Mouthwash"--Maalox, lidocaine, and Benadryl--because I couldn't even swallow 2 Advil. My god, did it taste nasty, but it worked. I felt nothing for hours.

edit: Congratulations, Sean! That's wonderful news.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Not since she sent a C&D letter to Jilli.

Ha!

My team does morale events, but they're things like "Hey, let's all go see this cheesy movie" or "Let's eat cupcakes and bitch about the tools team that is supposed to be supporting us!" So, y'know, fun things.

I have pictures from the Vampire Ball. But I don't know if any of you are interested in seeing them, since HARDLY ANYONE commented on the photo that Pete linked to last night. It's like none of you love Cass or me anymore.
