The quick test I had this morning did not indicate strep throat but they're doing the overnight test and will call with the results. Throat still hurty and swallowing is agony. I'm subsisting on Cloraseptic and creamy foods.

Oh Cash, I hope you feel better. It sounds like you've got what I had last month. The doc gave me what he called "Magic Mouthwash"--Maalox, lidocaine, and Benadryl--because I couldn't even swallow 2 Advil. My god, did it taste nasty, but it worked. I felt nothing for hours.

My team does morale events, but they're things like "Hey, let's all go see this cheesy movie" or "Let's eat cupcakes and bitch about the tools team that is supposed to be supporting us!" So, y'know, fun things.

Oh, I agree that Gothic Charm School is a better name for what I write about. It was just a little alarming to get Mail From Lawyers gently reminding me about other people's intellectual property.
