Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

well, he said

when were gaming, I'd rather spend the time gaming than cooking or going out.

so I think he doesn't understand that I planned to cook the night before. So far he hasn't replied to my email explaining this but since the host said, "mmm lasagne" I'm gonna go ahead and buy the ingredients. On the other hand, Dennis is DM. Who gets final say, the host or the DM?

and OK yes I had some designs on a salad but I could easily make a meal out of just lasagne for the good of the game.

I would eat your lasagna. I love lasagna. But it's a bit much to make for one person, I find. I'd have to keep eating it for days and days.

It actually just premiered a few weeks ago. Yes, I know this because I watched it that very night. I do love my cheesy skating movies!

Yeah, I think that was when I rewatched the first one, but decided not to try to make it through #2 and #3...

Stephanie, they are adorable--I love how Frisco looks kind of like "OMG get me away from this crazy hugging girl!"

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I can't believe I almost scrolled past the babypics! Frisco's face on the "Hug" picture is beyond cute.

not your mom's socks.

skipping because this was just overheard & needed to be given to the internets:

"I love you daddy. When I grow up, I'm gonna marry you!"

"I'm already married..."

"To who?"

"Who do you think?"

"Mommy!"

"Right!"

"I love Opa (Grandpa DH) too. Is he married?"

"Yes. To Oma..."

"Is Gigi (Grandma Sox) married? ..."

(at least she didn't ask if Hello Kitty was married... yet.)

Aww. I think that's adorable.

Question--growing up, we did not have any cute names for our grandparents. Grandma [FirstName] and Grandpa [FirstName]. Though I think we may have been the first generation to not be calling them by their last names! (My older cousins occasionally did)

What kind of names did you guys use with your grandparents? Was it from a cultural thing, or a mispronunciation, or a request from the grandparent?

No, that's not porny. That's not porny at all.
