No, that's not porny. That's not porny at all.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I love you guys. That is all.
Oh, and Steph, I'm waving at you from the airport again.
Omnis - your body needs to cut you a break, IMHO. Also? Omnis-Dr? Please to tell our friend things. Kthanksbye.
Meara - we started because I called both grandmothers "Grandma" when I was very little... and was called to the phone to talk to "Grandma" and immediately began babbling about something that one G knew and liked/approved of/understood/something like that and the other didn't. I was on the phone with the wrong one. Names were assigned I think the moment the smoke cleared. Mine were Grandma and Granny. Granny-side, I was the eldest, and so got to pick the name and make everyone following live by it. Grandma-side, you'll need to ask Sparky's sister about, or possibly our cousin from Canadia.
Iris inherited Oma and Opa from her cousin; my mom was hoping for Granny, but likes GiGi just as much.
I called my grandparents Dod (a family nickname; her name was Dorothy) and George, and Sam (navy nickname, universally used; his given name is Ormon Edwin and he was called Eddie before the navy) and (stepgrandmother) Barbara. I also called (and call) my parents by their first names.
My kids have Grandma and Grandpa mr. flea's last name, Grandma Debbie and Grampy Don, and Grandma Terry and Grandpa Toby.
Mine were/are Granny & Grampa, Nana & Grandaddy, Grampa Dave (& Miscellaneous - he was never married to anyone but my grandmother for long enough to matter). My great-grandmother was Geema.
Of Dylan's four grandparents, only my mother has picked out a nickname (Bubbe). (DH's parents don't want to impose, and my dad is still in denial about being old enough to be a grandfather.)
We called my Mom's parents Gramma and Grampa and my Dad's parents Nana and Boompa. It wasn't until I was nearly grown that I found out Boompa had come from the first kid not being able to pronounce Grampa and Nana came when Dad's Mom insisted on having her own cute nickname too. My nieces and nephews' generation calls everyone honorific-name i.e. Grampa Jim or Aunt Liz.
I just found out my sister is blaming my parents for her marriage because they didn't do enough to try and stop her. Healing this family is going to be a long tough process.
My MiL staked out "Nana" 9 years before we had kids (with our dog). She hates "Grandma" or the ever-dreaded "Mammaw." So she is "Nana." My FiL is "Grandpa." although his own father insisted on "Granddad."
My own folks are more easy-going. My dad will call himself "Papaw" to my kids and they will call him "Grandpa." My mom is "Grandma."
I called my mom's folks "Grandpa" and "Grandma" or by their first names, Newt and Betty. My dad's parents were "Granny" and "Poppy."
I call my own dad "Pop," so "Poppy" may be in his future, as well.
My grandparents were both Grandma [last name] and Grandpa [last name]. My step-grandma is Grandma [first name].
My parents are Grandma and Grandpa to my nephew. My SIL's parents are Nana and Papa.
Mine were Nana, Boppa, Meemaw and Granddaddy. Now that I think of it, I have no explanation for Boppa. It was always a given, like pi.
My father's parents were FarFar and FarMor (Danish for paternal grandfather/mother), my mom's mother was Granny (her name was Francis, or Franny for short) and her stepdad was Grandpen. (Mom's dad died before he got a nickname.)
